Unique Sales and Marketing Solution is Now Available
ATLANTA, November 14, 2008 - In response to dealers in the outdoor living industry requesting a better way to sell outdoor kitchens, YOUReality, LLC recently released YOUReality 3D Visualization Software. The software, created in part using a proprietary algorithm, allows dealers to easily "build" an outdoor kitchen in 3D, and then place it into a digital photo of a customer's backyard. The resulting image gives dealers and customers a realistic, 3D preview of how the outdoor kitchen will look in the customer's own backyard.
The software uses a proprietary marker in the digital photo to identify dimension and perspective, giving dealers the ability to place a 3D object in a 2D environment.
"We regularly consulted a group of retail dealers, distributors and other industry experts and have developed software that is really cool, but practical. The application resolves many of the issues dealers face in selling outdoor living environments," says Michelle Fallon, founder and president of YOUReality. "The logic and defaults built into the software help dealers avoid common design mistakes and extend selling potential from in store displays to a new "virtual" retail space either in store or onsite."
With YOUReality, dealers can consult with customers "on the fly" in store or onsite as they design the kitchen, changing out grills, accessories, island shapes and sizes - even countertop and facing materials.
Once the customer's ideal kitchen is designed, YOUReality takes it one-step further, and showcases the kitchen in a digital photo of the customer's own backyard or patio.
Fallon adds that unlike other visualization software products on the market, YOUReality is a "click and drag" environment, and does not require design knowledge or the ability to use a CAD-based software product.
"The ability to easily configure an island in minutes and show the finished products in a customer's yard is an incredible sales and marketing tool," says Michael Kenady, owner of Atlanta Grill Services. "We looked for something like this for more than a year before seeing an early version of YOUReality. As beta testers of the software, we have already experienced the value and competitive edge the software provides. Even in this down economy, we've been able to increase our sales because YOUReality enhances the customer's buying experience.
